On April 25th and 26th, 2020, the first session of the 5th CUHK-Shenzhen Student Congress took place. The meeting was mainly about the general election of new members of the Student Union, Standing Committee of the Student Congress and Student Congress Board of Supervisors.  The meeting had the honor to invite Vice President Professor Zhu Shiping, Acting Director of OSA, Doctor Yu Xiaoming, Deputy Director Ms. Tian Fang, Mr. Wang Yaozong and Ms. Xia Mengyi of OSA, as well as student representatives of our sister colleges: Song Runhua of HITSZ, Lu Haiou of Tsinghua SIGS, and Li Xujie of PKUSZ. During campaigning, candidates elaborated their plans and ideas and participants actively presented them with questions. The Board of Supervisors issued a questionnaire by the end, collected the votes and drew up a list of elected students according to the results. So far, the general election of the Student Union, Standing Committee and Board of Supervisors of the Student Congress have all been completed.
