The recent increase in rainfall has led to an explosion of wild mushrooms around the campus. While the wild mushrooms might look like common varieties, ingesting them can cause severe illness or even death. We want to remind you not to pick and eat them for your safety.

If someone happens to eat wild mushrooms and have dizziness, vomiting, diarrhea, or other symptoms of poisoning, please induce vomiting at once and seek immediate emergency treatment. Regardless of whether they have symptoms or not, those who have eaten mushrooms should seek medical attention immediately and keep remaining samples of wild mushrooms for the doctor.

The best way to avoid mushroom poisoning is not to eat wild mushrooms picked from the ground!
