【For China Mainland Undergraduate Students Only】The 2023 CUHK Summer Program Funding Scheme

The 2023 CUHK Summer Program Funding Scheme aims to assist students with financial support in the 2023 CUHK Summer Program. Successful applicants will receive a sum of RMB 20,000 to pay for the tuition fees and accommodation fees of the 2023 CUHK Summer Program.

 

 

Quota:

 

10-15 students

 

 

Eligibility:

 

1. Applicant shall be full-time China Mainland undergraduates of CUHK-Shenzhen;

 

2. Applicant shall have integrity and good conduct, abide by laws and regulations and have no record of discipline violations;

 

3. Applicant’s CGPA shall be above 3.0 ( Including GPA of AY 2022-2023 Term 1); 

 

4. Applicant has a certain degree of family financial difficulties (For students who have passed the authentication as Family with difficult financial situation on 2022 Fall semester, there is no need to submit attachment 2) ;

 

5. Applicant has demonstrated contributions to the University and society regarding student organizations, volunteer services, organizational leadership, or other aspects;

 

6. Applicant has not participated in any summer course/exchange/visiting programs organized by the University; 

 

7. Applicant should meet the other requirements as defined by the Office of Academic Links (OAL) and the 2023 CUHK Summer Program.

 

 

How to apply:

 

Applicant shall fill in the two attached forms and send them to zhuning@cuhk.edu.cn before March 16, 2023;

 

If necessary, eligible applicants may be required to submit supporting documents or participate in an interview with the review committee;

 

* Priority would be given to Junior (year 3) and Sophomore (year 2) students due to the limited number of places.

2023 CUHK Summer Program will be delivered offline. The deadline for course application is on April 30, 2023. For specific application process, please refer to:  http://www.summer.cuhk.edu.hk/issjuly-application-non-local/;

The financial aid should be returned if you do not successfully enroll in this summer program or do not take courses with a total of 6 credits.
