2020 Graduation season "Shed Off" Old Clothes Recycling Activity

2020.06.10

From May 27th to June 10th, 2020 the Social Practice Center of OSA successfully launched a series of graduation centered activities called "2020 Danshari" (Recycling of old clothes). This activity not only made it convenient for students to dispose of their old goods upon graduation but also encouraged both teachers and students to practice the concept of environmental protection. The Social Practice Center, in collaboration with the Volunteers' Association, Shaw College and Muse College, encouraged students and staff to take part in the donation of used clothes to the Environmental Protection Agency. The project team collected 62 bags of old clothes from recycling bins placed in various parts of the campus. This series of activities not only enabled the graduating students to leave without a heavy baggage, but also gave them their last lesson of environmental protection on campus and help them contribute to the ongoing work in environmental protection.
