Dear Students and Colleagues,

As more infected covid-19 cases are happening nationwide, we should have more preventive measures amid this crucial and critical period.

Recently, it has been brought to our attention that more and more passengers take shuttle buses without wearing face masks properly. You should all know keeping wearing a mask on the shuttle bus is a must. Yet we can see some passengers did not respect this requirement citing different excuses, and this causes unnecessary troubles to our drivers and threats to all passengers.

Our drivers are authorized to request unmasked passengers to leave the bus. We request all passengers to respect and follow this Masking requirement. Therefore, we ask:

1.      All passengers, please wear your mask before boarding and keep wearing your mask before alighting.

2.      All passengers (both students and staff, faculty members), please act as our monitor and proactively remind those offenders, if any, to resume proper manners and assist our driver in having the offender leave the bus.

We shall have a limited supply of unused face masks available for those who forget to bring his/her own, yet he/she should take the next bus if stock out.

We respect every personal right, but public health concerns should prevail. Taking a bus wearing no mask is irresponsible behavior, this arbitrary manner jeopardizes the others, and it must be stopped.
