With trees thriving, April has come around us. In this charming season, why not get rid of the stress brought by the epidemic and have fun? Although we can not all get together and discuss freely as ancient people did, we can still use books to make friends and express our unique feelings.

To welcome the World Reading Day on April 23rd, Activities Department of the Student Union is holding Reading Week series activities. Book exchange activity will be the first activity in Reading Week. This activity aims at helping students to discover more interesting books as well as share opinions on books with friends. Book exchange activity is jointly hosted by The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Southern University of Science and Technology. All the students on campus are welcome to participate in the activity.

Detailed information of the activity is as follow:

1. Time for registration: from April 11th to April 15th

2. Time for getting information of your book-friend: April 19th

3. Time for mailing your book: April 20th to April 23rd

Students who intend to participate in this activity should pay attention to the following points:

1. There are differences between the number of participators from two universities, so your book-friend may come from participants university.

2. Students who register for the activity successfully will receive an email informing the details about book-friend, please make sure that you check the email on time.

3. After mailing your book. Please fill in the courier number in the questionnaire, which will be attached in the email informing about your successful registration. What’s more, please upload a picture of your book in the questionnaire.

4. To ensure the quality of the activity, please don’t send textbooks, reference books or books that are damaged badly. You are highly suggested to add your own opinions and reading notes in your book.

5. We have prepared gifts as subsidies for postage. You can come to office of the Student Union and use your email of successful registration to get your own gift.

6. If you need to cancel your registration for the activity, please send an email to su@link.cuhk.edu.cn and explain the reasons by 23:59 on April 14th. Students who are absent from the activity without explanation will be added to the blacklist of Activities Department of the Student Union.
