The Corridor from Quanjiafu Convenient Store to Sunken Square
Chinese
In the Fourth Social Good Festival in 2020, the "Parklife" project has led students to appreciate and discover the "park aesthetics" on campus’ Sunken Square.
This year, combined with the theme of "accessibility" of the Fifth Social Good Festival, the Parklife team will hold the exhibition of “Parklife: Flowing in the Park", which will run from September 13th to October 13th.
Traditionally saying, the concept of "Accessibility" aims at the special group of people to establish products and the living environment with equality and accessibility. This time, we aims to broaden people's perception of "accessibility" through the exhibition. Everyone's position in the dimension of "disability and health" may change from time to time due to changes of themselves or the environment. The exhibition hopes to inspire people to think about the "barrier-free environment" in a broader sense and encourage them to remove the unmentioned barriers both in the campus environment and daily life.
In the Fifth Social Good Festival, the Parklife team hopes to explore the multiple meanings of "Park" and "Flow" through different kinds of exhibitions and activities, discover, deconstruct and eliminate various barriers and obstacles, and to create a more barrier-free, open and inclusive campus environment and community space together.

【Duration】13th September – 13th October
【Exhibition Venue】The Corridor from Quanjiafu Convenient Store to Sunken Square
【Exhibition Introduction】
1. [Closer Together: Remote Photography]
As an attempt to tackle the spatial limitations caused by the global pandemic of COVID-19, we invite people to photograph remotely. When the data of images are transferred from one place to another, the participants' thoughts, emotions, and creativity travel freely as well.
2. [One-dimensional Stairs]
Combing data algorithm with 3D printing technology, the exhibit presents how people fall into the information cocoon.
3. [Flowing View]
Tired of construction noise? We hope that the footage of parks on the wall, tranquil or bustling, can help you rejoin nature even only for a while.
4. [Hang Up the Park 2.0]
Listen to the voices of many 'impaired' groups and see them show the situational barriers that 'normal' people face in certain situations.
5. [Good Job!]
By looking at job postings, we collect and display some occupations related to the disabled and other occupations for social good.
6. [Heard Park]
Entering a park that does not exist in a physical space, the barriers of perceiving the park's subject population, usual modes, senses, and fields will be broken down.
7. [Rubber Ducks in Modern Times]
In order not to be swept away by the rapid current, the little yellow ducks, who are good at swimming, have to tie themselves to the rocks under the water with fishing line.
